NEWSFLASH: GAY MARRIAGE IS ONLY AN ATTACK ON RELIGION OF THE GOVERNMENT FORCES RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS TO RECOGNIZE GAY MARRIAGE AND PERFORM GAY MARRIAGE CEREMONIES.

But do the states that allow gay marriage do that?

NO.

It’s about making gay marriage legal. It’s not about making the cray cray (religious) people who are anti-LGBTQ marriage unhappy and impinging on their right to religion. You know, with the whole secular separation of church and state thing…IT’S NOT AN ISSUE. Gay marriage being legal in a state doesn’t mean the religious people of that state have to condone marriage, accept it, or perform wedding ceremonies.

Like, honestly. Dear sweet God. If you wouldn’t want to be treated like a second class citizen and have one less right than someone who is the same raceagereligionclassetc as you or not, why the fuck would you want to put that on someone else? People in the LGBTQ community have every right to love whoever they want and have every right to have that love recognized by the law. (If they want it recognized by religion…well, that’s a totally different fight.)

OMG. This just pisses me off. It is just as bad as racism, and you know those fuckers who are anti-LGBTQ are like OMG RACISM IS BAD I WOULD NEVER BE RACIST.
